AMB. ERIC TONYE AWORABHI

CHAIRMAN

The Chairman, Amb. Eric Tonye Aworabhi, comes from a diversified background. He holds a B.Sc [Econs] Zaria, M.Sc. [Public Sector Management] Aston, Birmingham, LL.B [PH] and B.L [Lagos]. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management [Chartered], Fellow of the Institute of Health Service Administrators of Nigeria, and an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.

He has held key administrative positions at the State and Federal levels. He was the pioneer Director of Administrator to two Teaching Hospitals – the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital and Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri. He also had the privilege of serving the country as her Ambassador to Italy. He brings all these and more to the service of the Board.

DR OMILA AWORABHI ALAGOA

MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO

The Managing Director, Dr. Omila Aworabhi-Alagoa, obtained her MBBS degree from the University of Port Harcourt in 2003. She is a member of the West African College of Physicians. Expanding her frontiers in the medical field, she holds a Certificate IV in Occupational Health, Safety, and Training from TAFEWA Pilbara, Australia, a Postgraduate Diploma in Sonography from the Institute of Ultrasound Training, Community College of IGNOU, New Delhi India and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. She broadened her horizons by obtaining a management certificate in leadership and management in health from the University of Washington.
Her experience spans the private and public healthcare sectors. She worked in the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital and the Federal Medical Center, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. She is the Medical Director (Chief Executive Officer) of PAN-OJ Clinic and Diagnostic Services Ltd., Bonny, Rivers State, which she founded and has managed successfully till date. Her specialty area of interest is family medicine. She joins the board with her rich background of active medical practice spanning well over 15 years.

SIR EJIKE ALUMONA

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Sir Ejike Alumona joined the Board in 2019. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Accounting from the University of Benin and M.SC Finance degree from the University of Lagos. He previously served in various capacities in KPMG Nigeria, Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Schlumberger Nigeria Limited and Transcorp Power Limited and First Hydrocarbon Nigeria Limited.

He is a fellow chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and brings over a decade of professional experience from the consulting, FMCG, oil & gas and Energy sectors, working with various companies. His experience spans across Strategy & Planning, Financial Reporting, Audit, taxation, Profitability Management and other Finance Competencies.

LADY CRESCENTIA CHINENYE AMAESHI ODOH

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Lady Crescentia Chinenye Amaeshi – Odoh is the Managing Director, 5 Cee Tutorial Centre, a member of 5 Cee Nigeria Ltd.

She has a B.Tech, Geology and Minning, School of Laboratory Technology, University of Port Harcourt, PDG, Education, National Teachers Training Institute, Kaduna. She is currently running a MED programme in Education Management, University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

She has undergone several trainings both in Health, Safety and Environment, Education and Business Development. Lady Crescentia as an Educationist is highly experienced in primary and secondary school administration.
She brings to the Board the benefit of her world-class experience in business management.

MRS CHUKU INA DORCAS

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Chuku Ina Dorcas holds a B.ED. History from Rivers State College of Education (which was previously affiliated to the University of Ibadan). She also holds a MEd Psychology Guidance and Counselling with specialty in Psychology from the University of Port Harcourt. She worked at the Juvenile Welfare Centre with the Nigerian Police Force at Sabon-Gari, Kano. She also worked as a Guidance Counsellor at Holy Rosary Secondary School, Port Harcourt and Government Girls Secondary School Harbour Road, Port Harcourt. She was also the Vice Principal Administration at Community Secondary School Rumuolumini, Port Harcourt.

Chuku Ina Dorcas is a seasoned Educationist, Psychologist and Administrator, and has undergone several trainings in Educational Psychology, Population Health from the United Nations Population Fund and trainings in Educational Administration. She is also a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and All Nigerian Conference of Principals of Secondary School (ANCOPSS). She is currently a Director at the Rivers State Ministry of Education and a pioneer Principal at Community Secondary School, Okoloma-Ndoki, Oyigbo Local Government Area in Rivers State. She brings to the board her experiences in Psychology/ Guidance and Counselling, and experiences in administration of well over 30 years.

DR NENI AWORABHI-OKI

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dr Neni Aworabhi-Oki graduated from the University of Port-Harcourt in 2008, where she earned her MBBS degree. She has since practiced medicine in both the private and public sectors, with over 10 years of experience. She went on to obtain a Masters degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom, in 2014. During this period, she obtained a Diploma in Occupational Medicine (Part 1) and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health, United Kingdom.

She has held management positions and served as the Bayelsa State Epidemiologist between 2016 and 2018. She has also attained a 2-year Master in Public Health, Field Epidemiology (MPH FEP) with the US-CDC-sponsored Nigerian Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program (NFELTP) and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She has worked in different capacities with partners such as the WHO, NCDC, UNICEF, AFENET, and 54 Gene. Her interests are in public health, focusing on epidemiology and immunology.

Currently, she is the Director of Disease Control and Immunization in the Bayelsa State Primary Health Care Board, a position she has held since 2021. She has pioneered research and led several coalitions of public health practitioners in various disciplines in response to outbreaks, including COVID-19, monkey pox, and measles outbreak responses. She has successfully managed and improved the routine immunization coverage in Bayelsa State since her ascension into office, proving her resilience and passion to improve health indices in both preventive and curative medical and health practices. She has vast clinical knowledge, broad experience in public health, and excellent management skills.

PATIENCE GEORGE ALUMONA

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Patience is a graduate of Urban and Regional Planning from the Cross River State University, Nigeria. She is an astute entrepreneur who has excelled in her chosen field of business.
She is a cosmetologist who has gained practical experience over the years and have built a reputable brand for herself. She brings to the board her entrepreneurial dexterity and ingenuity.
She is the Founder/CEO of Paluma Concepts with its office located in Portharcourt. She is also a member of the board of directors of General Quest Nigeria Ltd. and a trustee of the Ejike Alumona Foundation. She is a member of the Lady Auxiliary of the Knight of St. John International and she is happily married with three children.

SIR DR.CHUKWUEMEKA E. ODOH

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/COO

Chukwuemeka Odoh, KSM, PhD, has acquired cognate experience in health insurance operations in Nigeria. He graduated from Enugu State University of Science and Technology with a B.Sc. in Political Science, an M.Sc. in International Relations from the University of Port Harcourt, and a PhD in International Relations from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He started his career in the insurance industry at PHB Insurance Ltd. as a financial planner, then as a marketer in 2009. He later switched over to PHB Healthcare Ltd., where he acquired significant knowledge about the health insurance business in Nigeria. He later joined Aster Healthcare Services Ltd. in 2011 and subsequently joined GreenBay Healthcare Services Ltd. as a Regional Manager, South South, where he resigned as such. He has a real passion for healthcare delivery in record time with expected results.
He joined Springtide Healthcare Service Ltd. as an executive director and chief operating officer.
